We headed down for a day trip to the Gold Coast. Arrived about 10am and shopped in the mall for some green and gold (tomorrow’s Rugby Match), then met up with a couple of Lina’s friends, who are half white, half aboriginal and beautiful! We went to lunch and a tea bar with them, then back to their house in Main Beach. Caught up for coffee and snacks with a friend of Jillian’s in Surfers Paradise. Back home for a very reflective Train trip, after which I decided I needed a drink, so we stopped at Tin Billy, a backpacker’s bar. 1 hour and 1 phone number later, we bussed home. I busted my toe on the sidewalk and was disappointed my cell phone didn’t come today. Hopefully tomorrow so I can get it taken care of this weekend.
