Jillian and I woke up at the farm to pouring rain! After making a breakfast for ourselves, decided to cook breakfast in bed for the Birthday Boy. We packed up our room, and helped Michael clean up the last of the party stuff, packed the car, and headed home. Because it had rained, we slipped and slid down the dirt road through the farm. I prayed that we wouldn’t spin out or get stuck in the mud and have to push our way out. Once on the road, we ate at McDonalds in Warwick, and then did a little bush-walking (read: hiking through the sub-tropical woods) in Main Range National Park. We got back late afternoon and took much needed very long and very hot showers.
